We don’t have to be amazing all of the time.

Do you need a permission slip?
Right now we are writing one out for you.
Dear (insert your name), It is ok to have days where you don’t feel amazing, cut yourself some slack, don’t feel guilty and know it is ok to feel like this. It’s all part of the process and part of your growth. Let go of the need to be perfect and have it all worked out. It’s ok to just sit for a little moment and feel.
Love You…
How many of us are waiting for that permission slip? Are you flogging yourself to be productive, consistent and have it all together. Guess what! That is unrealistic and will lead to failure, don’t set yourself up for it. Instead understand that it’s ok to have a few off days and then you will get back into the rhythm and do the work on the good days.
Something dramatically shifts when we do this, we allow ourselves to have faults. This is a great moment when we begin to love ourselves in a true and more authentic way. From this we can then build greater capacity to stretch, to become consistent and do more work and with time you will find yourself doing more of the emotional work on the not so good days as you will be motivated to get back to those good feelings. Yes it is even more important to do the emotional work on the not so good days but it doesn’t come without the self love and acceptance that you are exactly where you are meant to be at every given moment.
Step into greater self loving behaviour and see how the internal resistance shifts. You will be more inspired to complete your “Action Hours” workbook on your not so good days as you know how good it makes you feel and how quickly you are restored to those good and balanced feelings.
So for today, let’s just drop the perfectionism, express more self love and self care and then knuckle down with your cup of tea and “Action Hours” workbook, as on the other side of this in a few months time you will be able to measure your greatest growth yet!
