“With a powerful community I can do so much more. I am happier. I learn and expand and, possibly, I can transform”. – Elana Aguilar
Inspired by Pat Divilly
Why it is important to create communities and how good it feels to be apart of one.
When we step out of the delusion that we must walk alone we embrace all the opportunities that a community brings. We all long for connection, to be part of something meaningful and yet at the same time we work so hard at being independent and self sufficient. What a delusion this is…
When we step into our community and make decisions to be actively involved we open up greater opportunity, rewards and fulfilment in our lives and businesses. When we step into connection,  into collaboration and shared vision we learn, we grow and we progress.
Are you active in your community, do you contribute, do you make time to connect in and what is your attitude to being part of something that is greater than you? These are great questions to ask yourself about your community.
Or do you prefer to be a lone rider and only tip toe on the edge of your community preferring to be in your box. If this is the case ask yourself why and challenge yourself to any limiting beliefs you may be holding onto. It feels great to be involved, it is educational to build relationships and it’s wonderful to upskill yourself with networking opportunities and collaborative projects.
Great entrepreneurs scale their profiles and their businesses through collaborations and joint ventures. They do this through genuine service while also embracing the power and benefits of working in community.
Challenge yourself this week to step into your community, to be open to collaboration and share your skills, knowledge and passion with those around you. It feels amazing to have connection, it creates impact when we work together and most of all together we are better!
