What is your EGO costing you?

January 17, 2016
Too much EGO will Kill your Talent
The ego is costly, it can cost you progress and opportunities. Without the willingness to prove and receive feedback, you can be limiting your talent and your reach.
Feedback is an essential part of personal growth and success, and with an inflated ego you cannot receive constructive feedback and therefore improve. Many times we work with women who have inflated egos. This really robs their ability to learn, as well as their ability to improve and implement change.
What we identify the most, is women who believe that they know it all, they believe they have done it all and therefore are stuck in a victim state, as well as stuck in the ego. It often takes us a few minutes to break down the ego and get into the suffering that is feeding the inflated ego. This is a protection mechanism the majority of the time, by exhausted women who have become despondent and stuck.
When we get stuck, we lose our ability to remain centred and can often feel like a victim. We then project our suffering on others and on circumstances, misplacing the blame for our suffering. The ego can be a feeder to this vicious cycle.
We break down the ego and remove the victim state to reveal suffering. Once we are here, we can then work together to rebuild, get clarity and create a plan that builds momentum. Incredible, once this momentum is established, the ego disappears.
You see, the ego costs you progress and opportunities. It lies between the place you are now and the place you want to be. By deflating the ego and being open to feedback and personal growth, we have the ability to step into a new level of success, clarity and opportunity.
Can you relate to this? Is this a cycle you are going through and need help to get unstuck? We would love to assist you to step up, claim the space and be the best version of yourself.
